School of

Oceanography

A. PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

Oceanography is the study of the oceans, atmosphere, and Earth. Life inhabits the oceans and seas with a myriad of physical characteristics, including the depth and extent of ocean waters, their powerful underwater currents and chemical makeup, and the topography and composition of the ocean floors. With a view to addressing issues of global concern, the environment, climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable resources, at Emet we have designed this course to mainly concentrate on Aqua Culture, Ocean Science and Marine Technology.

Aquaculture is a method used to produce food and other commercial products, restore habitat and replenish wild stocks, and revive populations of threatened and vulnerable species. Marine or Ocean Science involves the study of marine organisms, and their ecology in the context of their physical, chemical and geological characteristics of their oceanic environment.  According to WEGEMT (a European association of 40 universities in 17 countries) marine technology is defined as "technologies for the safe use, exploitation, protection of, and intervention in, the marine environment."

Through a study of Oceanography, a student at Emet, will discover that there is a Divine Mathematical System that completely controls the oceans, the atmosphere and the earth. This system is actually rooted in the power of the O3 Word. And this is what makes this course highly interesting as we take the students through ancient texts and reveal the hidden secrets of the wonderful O3W functions that control, sustain and culminate the oceanic-world.
